Meeting with Training and Development Department of 5 Star Hotels

The Jordan Hotels Association held a meeting with training and development managers for five-star hotels in Jordan, on Monday, 27/5/2024, aiming to discussing training issues and the future training plan aimed at improving and developing the skills of workers in this crucial sector.
The meeting was discussed the challenges facing the hotel sector in training and development field, in addition to examining new strategies that could be taken to enhance the efficiency of workers and improve the level of services provided to the guests.
The General Manager of the Association, Mr. Mustafa Kawash, assured the importance of this meeting in enhancing cooperation between the Association and the five-star hotels, and the necessity to invest in employees training to raise the level of competitiveness and achieve excellence in the hospitality sector.
A comprehensive presentation was prepared and presented by JHA team during the meeting about the training plan for the current year, which includes short and specialized training programmes in various fields such as hotel management, customer service and luxury hospitality, as well as workshops and panel discussions aimed at exchanging experiences and knowledge among employees in the sector.
The attendees discussed ways to improve and develop existing training programmes in line with modern global requirements in the hospitality industry, assigning the importance of collaborating with global training institutions to build on best practices and successful experiences.
at conclusion of the meeting, it was agreed to follow up the implementation of the training plan and ensure the achievement of its objectives. Also, they appointed on the periodic meetings necessity to be held in order to review and update training programmes in line with developments in the sector.
This meeting is part of the Jordan Hotels Association’s efforts to enhance the level of hotel services in the Kingdom and achieve the satisfaction of guests by providing an integrated training environment for workers in this vital sector and achieving the vision of economic modernization, which came under the auspices of His Majesty King Abdullah II. It emphasized the important role of tourism by contributing local output, creating jobs and empowering local communities.
